“ID” apparel project by designer Vasso Consola, is being inspired by the philosophy of the ‘chiton’,the ancient greek garment, ID. can be described as a polymorphic and at the same time, ecological modern garment It can be re-configured according to the mood of the wearer, and, is (most interesting!) accompanied by a manual containing suggestions and examples for all the possible ways that it can be work and always look chic.Exactly just like like the aforementioned “chiton”,this modern project has its roots to rich greek history while it consists itself a bright new and innovating concept, acombination i have always found interesting! It is being produced in a number of versions, each with a limited run so..run!
It is produced from cotton jersey , is machine washable at 40o, is friendly to the skin and external conditions. It is the ideal summer vacation garment because it is easy-care, and the ability to improvise makes it a substitute for many other single-use garments.
The retail price starts at 100 euros and the line will be available at the following boutiques until the end of July 2009:
